The first solo album of Thanasis Dzingovic from Thessaloniki is released by Veego Records in a limited edition of 300 copies. A highly aesthetic creation, with the main sound axis being the new psychedelic indie pop and rock music, it contains eight tracks, including "I Want", "Oceania" and "Tomorrow again". Known for his work through the projects Super Stereo and Tuflon and also his collaborations with George Dimitriadis, Pavlos Pavlidis & B-Movies (he was a member from 2008 to 2015) and Giannis Charoulis among others, the 45-year-old musician has shown a remarkable course in the domestic music scene the last twenty years. The album was written during the first year of the pandemic, in a difficult personal period for the artist himself. Nevertheless, his Greek pop/rock style exudes a hope that springs from his laxative, sweet melodies. The slow, deep, almost epic "As the sun goes down" is perhaps the highlight of the album, imagining it as a timeless classic song of the Greek discography, while among the compositions there is the cover of "Tomorrow again" by Gatsos-Moutsis. His sense of travel refers to a night voyage on a ship sailing in the Aegean and which emerges in the wonderful, orchestral "Jacques Yves Cousteau". ‘Dzingovic’ is a continuation of the domestic quality rock tradition and at the same time has a completely modern sound inspired by the modern neo-psychedelic scene, having at its core a wonderful pop sensitivity.
