One of the most sought after progressive bands from Montreal, Contraction was formed in the dying days of their friend Franck Dervieux, and released two albums of beautiful music highlighted by Christiane Robichaud's angelic vocals. This second album is a staple of progressive rock, with the three-part 18-minute title track, a rock arrangement of the folk traditional 'Claire Fontaine', and the King Crimson inspired 'L'Ame A Tout Faite', which utilizes themes composed by the late Dervieux.
