A parallel to Martha Velez, Jean Turk answered the call of Blighty's Cream, left America and followed the siren notes of Clapton's guitar to England, ending up recording and gigging around the Northampton area in the early seventies. She hooked up with guitarist Anthony Barford of Axe and Crystalline, recorded with Steve Giles of Dark, and later at Spaceward in Cambridge. This release documents a 1976 gig of raw heavy blues at the point it began to morph into metal, heavy on the Free influence, Turk is backed by British musicians and blasts through a very heavy set.
