Honeybone is a three-piece psychedelic/garage rock band based in Melbourne, Australia, and hail from the city of Dunedin, in the deep south of New Zealand. Featuring drummer and vocalist Rachel Trainor, guitarist/vocalist Drew Handcock, and bass player Peter Jermakoff. Honeybone has released one full-length album and two EPs since their formation in 2009, and live show highlights have been supporting slots for bands such as The Beastwars, Wofat, the Datsuns, Dragon, and Luger Boa. They made the trans- Tasman move in 2012, and regularly gig at most notable venues in Melbourne. Honeybone are releasing their 2nd full-length album 'Sphere' digitally Nov 13th, followed by the vinyl release on Nov 27th, 2020. The first single from the album 'Stratosphere' (accompanied by a music video) features both Drew and Rachel sharing lead harmony style vocals, as well as psychedelic riffs and dreamy progressions.
