DIXIE GOAT was born in Santiago, Chile in 2012, founded by guitarist/singer Nikk Beer & drummer Seb Martinez. The power trio describes their music as a doomy hard rock with Stoner vibes. Since July 2013, the band has shared the stage with Mondo Generator (USA), Ancestro (Perú), Montaña Eléctrica (Argentina) and including some greats from the local scene. Aside from being constantly playing live shows DIXIE GOAT released one LP, an EP and a Split plus a single: “Black Sun Child” (2015), "Even Demons Have Demons“(2016), “huérfanos Salvajes Split”(2017), What’s Goin’ On (2019). Their new record "There’s No Light Without Darkness” was released on November 6th, 2020 and it will be released on vinyl in 2021 via Electric Valley Records. We are happy to present the second studio album from Santiago Hard-Rockers DIXIE GOAT. On "There’s No Light Without Darkness”, the power-trio put its musical influences into a bowl and mixed them hard enough. It took five years and finally the Goat is back louder, heavier and slower. "There’s No Light Without Darkness" is a record that will moreover delight fans of Black Sabbath, Corrosion Of Conformity, Down and Soundgarden.
