Presented on a 12-inch platter, here are FIVE PREVIOUSLY UNHEARD RECORDINGS from the pioneering '60 garage-punks THE MONKS, consisting of (ex-)US-service men stationed in Germany. 'I'm Watching You' was recorded on February 28th, 1967 during the same sessions that produced the band's final single 'Love Can Tame The Wild'. The remaining four songs were taped after hours at Hamburg's legendary Top Ten Club later that year, just prior to the break-up of the band. These songs remained unreleased for 50 years and are quite possibly the last music left to be heard by this legendary band.
