First Band from outer Space was the first spacerock band from Gothenburg, paving the way for acts like The Hills, The Movements, Yuri Gagarin and Uran who followed in their tracks. These were the pioneers though and I dare to say that this is the best rock music to come out of Scandinavia in the 21st century! Part of this album first saw the day of light already in 2009 when it was released in 300 copies as the fifth ever Kommun2 release. It sold out immediately and has been in high demand ever since. Now we have managed to add two sidelong tracks (I wish I could use those words more often) to the three original compositions and make it a double. The Guitar is Mightier than the Gun will be released on vinyl as a joint release between Kommun2 and Sound Effect Records. The cover illustration is an original work by Swedish Sci/Fi designer Henning Lindahl.
