Alain Pire Experience, THEE Neo-Psychedelic band from Belgium, has just released its most ambitious album so far. Their 3rd opus is simply called "APEX", which means a point in Hercules's Constellation towards which our solar system is heading. Never forgetting their sense for melody, the band is also keen to create psychedelic atmospheres, using sitar, tablas, mellotron and backward loops. "APEX" features a fantastic cover of George Harrison's "Only A Northern Song" and welcomes, former Magma keyboard player, Jean-Luc Manderlier for an epic trippy improvisation on the Floydish "Lost on a Cloud".

"APEX" will be out on limited edition vinyl (3 editions, on black, orange and splatter vinyl) and CD, on Alain's own label, on June 14th 2019.
