Joe records proudly presents, for the first time on vinyl, a great album from the Greek band Damirah. Five years after its release on CD, "Lights and Guns and Fire" is re-released on 300 pieces of 180gr vinyl, hand-numbered, with new analog mastering. The musical direction of "Lights and Guns and Fire" lies in a constant dynamic of flare-ups, rhythmic shifts, a "Mediterranean character" post-rock narrative of a group of musicians who with honesty and passion tried to leave their own mark on the modern sound of the city. "Lights and Guns and Fire" includes 6 instrumental tracks, that contain samples (as in "Dotted Bright Lights") from recorded conversations of members of the "Peoples Temple", a religious sect known for "Jonestown Massacre'. The "fairy tale" heard in the track and the background behind it, is a chilling combination of innocence, violence and brainwashing. At the same time, in the track "As a Child, I Always Dreamed of Fire", we find a shocking narration by Stella Magganas in verses from the poetry collection "Antartiko2" by Dimitris Gioulos and Konstantinos Papaprilis - Panatsas.
